Appearance: Tall and well built, Kensei keeps himself healthy and strong. His eyes are sharp and clear. He has a nice smile, seen more often over the years as his relationship with Risa progressed.

Character Analysis: Kensei, like many of the Vaizards, went back to the garage after graduation. However, now that he was older, he decided to get an apartment of his own, though another major reason is that all of them living together again could have attracted unwanted attention. He moved into a small apartment next to one of the many parks in the city, so he’d have some semblance of nature near him. He is still together with Risa, though is unsure as to what to refer to her as anymore. She is more to him than a girlfriend, but not a fiancee or wife, and ‘lover’ sounds stupid to him. He’s settled on affectionately calling her “his woman”. They don’t live together, though Kensei is working up the courage to ask her to move in with him.

For income, he got a job as a bouncer at a local club, where he is allowed to crack skulls together when he needs to. He actually enjoys it.

Over the years, Kensei’s temper has simmered down a bit, but it is far from gone. He smiles a lot more and is generally much more personable and laid-back with his friends. On his 20th birthday, he got a half-sleeve tattoo on his right arm of a cougar’s head surrounded by mist and the words “silver wildcat” in kanji, in reference to his mask (and hair). He has also since stopped wearing his eyebrow ring, but still continues to wear all three earrings.

To get around, Kensei usually takes his mountain bike. He avoids the trains and buses like a plague, hating the tight space and packed crowds. However, he also owns a Suzuki Hayabusa which he drives on occasion, mostly when he goes outside the city. His is blue & silver.
